How many sixteenth notes would be needed to have the same duration as 3 quarter notes? Represent this as a fraction

Hi Eden,

There are 4 sixteenth notes in each quarter notes, so to represent 3 quarter notes you would need 12 sixteenth notes.

I'm not sure about the nature of the question of the fraction, is it a school question? Was it in relation to anything else?
